🍛 BhojanAI — Delete Your Account

This page lets you request permanent deletion of your BhojanAI account and associated data. You can use it whether or not you currently have the app installed.

Two ways to delete your account

In the app (fastest): open BhojanAI → Settings → Delete account. This starts deletion immediately.
Using the form below: submit a request with your registered mobile number. We verify and process it for you.

What gets deleted

When your request is processed, we permanently erase the data tied to your account, including:

Your mobile number, name, and email
Your family profile — member names, relationships, age bands, food preferences, allergies, and any health conditions you added
Your kitchen inventory, meal plans, cooking history, and your reactions to suggestions
Login sessions (you're signed out on all devices)

What we keep, and for how long

30-day recovery window: your account is first deactivated and recoverable for 30 days (register with the same number to restore it). After 30 days it is permanently erased.
Minimal legal/security records: we may retain limited audit records (e.g. that a deletion occurred) and anonymized, non-identifying logs where required by law or to prevent abuse. These contain no profile, health, or kitchen data.

How long it takes

We action verified requests within 7 days. Combined with the 30-day recovery window, all recoverable data is fully removed within about 30 days of processing.
